Righto, I just purchased a Sound Blaster Live 24-bit sound card (model SB0410) And am attempting to get it to work with my speakers (Logitech Z-5300)
I removed all other sound drivers and disabled the onboard ones, installed the card, installed its drivers, updated the drivers. And then started testing my sound.
Using the built in speaker test (set on 5.1 speakers) I get front left/front center/front right/rear right/rear left, sounds like everything's going well right? Wrong. When I use winamp/WMP or any other mediaplayer sound only comes from the front left and front right speakers. Now, I've changed the cards slot twice and have had the same result. I've also restarted a bunch of times.
Help anyone? Please? |

Need to find driver for Soundblaster live
Model CT4830, It's well old and i've lost the disc.
A yellow exclaimation mark shows on the devise list, can anyone help me out? |
