Hi, I'm building a home theater PC and I could really use a bit of advice on getting good sound quality.
What soundcards would be 1. the very best soundcard, 2. the best value?
and What is the optimal way to connect my PC to my reciever 5.1 or greater, DTS, THX all that jazz? The whole mini-jack to RCA converter thing seems kind of low quality to me. Is optical the best, spdif? I heard the Europeans have a different connector called Scart.
