I am trying to convert my childrens VHS to DVD and it isnt working. The program that I am using is Studio 9 and it will down load the VHS onto the computer but it wont convert it to DVD. Also does anyone know the differences in the - and + R? I am not sure if I am using the correct one. Please help if you know what I am doing wrong. Thanks in advance |

just my guess, studio might not be able to produce a DVD-quality product unless you purchase additional upgrades. in other words, some free programs (ones you get with a USB convertor box) come only with the ability to create an MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 product. although MPEG-2 is okay for creating a DVD, it is not the best method. as for the - vs the +, the DVD+R discs are the right way to go. it is newer/faster technology for burning. is studio recognizing your DVD+RW? d |
