HEllo, would appreciate help here. I have an AverMedia video capture card on my computer, and use it to capture old videos from a VCR or camcorder which i connect. It seems the software which came with the card allows me to capture uncompressed video into files on my computer.

The burning software i have allows me to burn those files onto DVD's but uncompressed, so i sometimes use 3 discs for one video.Obviously i would like to be able to compress the file and burn it onto one disc.

i downloaded some shrink software but can't seem to figure out how to use on the files. Do i need to re-author?

Would appreciate some help as i don't have experience with this.

thanks
