--I'm trying to find info on a power supply for an old Compaq, and I can't seem to find anything.
--It has the usual AT connectors P1 & P2 (re-named from P8 & P9) but also a third power connector labeled P9 that plugs into the middle of the board. The one thing that's different from the others is that the P9 has green and black wires.
--I tried just using another AT p/s with just P1 & P2 (P8 P9)to see what happens. I heard the hard drive spin up briefly, but that was about it. No errors displayed on video or even beeps from POST, so it wasn't even able to get that far.
--Anybody ever encountered this power supply type before?
