I have an Audigy 2 ZS on my computer hooked up to a pioneer reciever via the digital out on the card to the digital coaxial-in on the reciever. This setup only allows me to hear stereo sound from the reciever and surround when playing a dvd.
Is there any way I can connect my soundcard to my reciever and allow the soundcard to decode the audio instead of my reciever? I have analogue 5.1 inputs on the reciever that I would like to use.
