Hey guys, I have the Epson ip4000 and it was working fine for 6 months when suddenly the black ink doesnt want to print. I re-installed the drivers, cleaned the heads, replaced the cartridges. Short of calling Epson or buying a new printer, what should I do?? thanks |

I had a canon i960 do that. it's either your fuser or the print head that has to be replaced. call canon. report the problem. either buy a new print head for $50 and pray that's the problem, or get the canon preferred customer program from the support rep and get a discount and free overnight shipping on a new canon printer. that's how I got my PIXMA970 for about $230 |
