hey everyone...i am curious if it is possible to connect a cable jack to a computer so i can watch two channels at one with both my computer and my tv...what is the hardware i would need and any tips or ideas of how i could do it?? |

You could get a video input on your computer. Be it RCA or S-Video. Directly to the monitor? There might be an adaptor...but i'm doubting it. |

if you want to watch tv on your comp then, get a TV tuner card. Compro PVR/FM (phillips chip) is a good allrounder. you can even capture your tv feed if you want to. it fits in your PCI slot. alternatively you can buy an external tv tuner card which can be hooked to your monitor alone and has an built-in switch which lets you toggle between tv/pc.(ext power needed here) what more these ext card units have a tiny speaker in case your pc is off and you want to watch tv! |

I'd rather just get a 19" Samsung LCD TV with the PC/TV tuner controls built in haha. |
