Which is best, why and which should i get. Ill be using it mostly for listening to music and yes I will be using it to record. To record my guitar sometime in the future.

I have an Audiophile 2496 and it works great for what I use it for, and that is studio recording. If you look at my profile you'll see my whole set up, but It works for me...wonders. And I do use it for music listening as well. I have never seen or heard the Emu, but doing research, it is a creative card, and while they are great at making soundcards for video games and movies, and normal listening too, the cards are not so great at recording...IMO...But the M-Audio gets my nod...plus it comes with Reason adapted for M-audio, Ableton Live for M-audio, and a cd with sample drums from M-audios drum kits...and it works well with Sonar...No troubles since I removed the SOundblaster Audigy...
