I have an older Micron Electronic monitor where when I press the menu button it bring up a message saying the "OSD Main Menu Locked". Does anyone know a way to get around this? |

At least for Samsung try this:
Press and hold the Menu button for 5 - 10 sec. and the OSD menu should be released.
To re-lock it (to prevent accidentally changing the values) do the same again.

My new flat screen Magnavox says the same thing, and I tried holding the menu button down, and that just didn't work.... Any other suggestions??? |

Every manufacturer has its own way of locking and unlocking the menu, for the best advice, you guys need to go to the support section of the manufaturers site. Send an e-mail if the FAQs or knowledge base don't help and in a couple of days you should have an answer. These guys want you to buy their products and will usually bend over backwards to help. |
