Your Manual can be found here:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?lc=en&cc=us&product=95000

You might also need Acrobat Reader to view the .pdf files.

Lost Device Drivers could be found here: http://www.driverguide.com Just Sign up (It's Free) it will deliver most of lost drivers dating back to about 1992

Your Orignal Drivers could be found here:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?lc=en&product=95000&cc=us&dlc=en &os=20
(if the first one doesnt Cooperate with your Computer, Install the Second and it will work)

Need lost Applications or need a small download Archieve? go here: http://www.OldVersion.com

Your Computer's Specifications:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?lc=en&cc=us&docname=c00255595

I hope this will help you Out on your Request..
I would not Recommand WinXP on this Computer as it reaches under Determined Specifications because you have a 333mhz and only 32mb of ram and WinXP requires anything above a P3 Processor, 256mb or higher RAM. This will entitle you to the future of Digital Performance, Also your Computer won't crash Often.

I need to reset the or clear the logon screen on my Compaq 1255. After turning it on, the screen pops up and ask for a password that is long forgoten. Any ideas on how to reset or clear the initial log on. Can't restart in safe mode either. F8 doesn't let me in at all. On place said I needed to send it in to get cleared. Anybody know what to do?

I also have a problem with a lost product key. I own right now an A21m IBM ThinkPad with Pentium III and designed for Microsoft Windows 98. Well my father bought a copy of Windows XP Professional off of his buddy and now when it reached the activation time, I don't know what key to use. I've tried all three (The one under my computer, the one with the Windows Pro, and one I found using Belarc.) The one from my computer and the Windows Pro say that it's an error, that the key was invalid, and the one I found using Belarc seemed as it "refreshed" the screen as if nothing happened. From what I think, it's not registered with Microsoft. I tried calling the Activation Center, but the automated speech system told me that the key to install my system was wrong. Please, I would really appreciate it if help could be brought. Thanks in advance.
