Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can help me. I want to know if there is any way I can order basic cable from cablevision for $14 a month and hook something up to it allowing me to use cable internet? |

Nope. Coax cables for internet are different than the coax cables running to your tv or cable box. No shortucts here unless you are an IT  . |

ur right and wrong in a way. the cables aren't different. the coax cables carries the "dat" or "cable" to both the tv and to the modem. the modem then uses either usb or ethernet cable to run to the computer.
binny770 if u want to. you just just order the internet without cable tv. i know u can for comcast. since the cable modem uses cable signals u can run a 2 way splitter off of the cable modem and yyou'll get free cable basic tv.
also i'm in IT. i just graduate from ITT so i know what i'm talkin about |
