Ok I need help about renaming files! I highlighted about 130 music files to copy them to a device and one of them was incorrectly named. I therefore right clicked it and named it properly, however forgetting that because I had them all highlighted it would rename then all! So I ended up with 130 files with all the same name. Does anyone know how to fix this issue because I dont! Please help people, thanks |

Wow!! That's a good trick !! Do you mean that you changed their extension e.g. .mp3 ? Can't you do the same as your mistake and restore the original "name" via Windows Explorer or My Computer ? Is the PC running OK now ??...BTW, Do you live near Donington ? (Lancs ? Lincs ?) ...L. |
