I have a compaq laptop(armada 7800),I turn the power on and the screen goes on, after a few seconds a pop up on the screen tells me :
1782-Disk controller failure . And nothing after that,can you please tell what's the problem and how can I solve it . Thank you . |

Hey, I have the same problem, and I think it is the disk controller (duh) and I am ordering a new motherboard from ebay. Hopefully that will help...I will tell you if it does, and for others for future reference. |
