Bought a new Serial ATA hard drive, and I didnt think about - what if my mainboard doesnt support any SATA? Does this mainboard have any? :D

Serial ATA is optional on this motherboard.

If you do not have SATA, I think you can get SATA->IDE converters.

i have a question did any body ever had problems with the machine w2646 2.60 ghz 40.gb intel celeron processor . i have two and the hard drive light just stay on . i just put on a dvdrw/cdrw rom and the computer hard drivd light stay blinking and the the processor fan dose not spin no more . can you help me .is there any tips
to fix this and make the processor good so my hard drive can kick back on. i put the dvdrw/cdrw on cable selec thanxs

well you can get a HDD controller card which will allow you to use the SATA drive.

But honestly I always end up putting one IDE drive on the system before I can get windows to recognize the sata drive so its kind of a mute point anyway.
