I have a Lite-On DVDRW LDW-411S it will not read any CDs,CDRWs,or any other CDs or DVDs.What can i do to make it read them. It is only a few months old.

I also have this model installed in my computer and it works great.

Have you installed the Sonic MyDVD software? Without it your computer can only use the drive as a CDROM (read CDs only). Also, does your computer meet the minimum requirements?

Here is a great link from a reviewer at epinions.com. Its got good details about this model's hardware and software. Perhaps that will help.

I have istalled all software and i have tried changing cables and placing it by itself and tried placing it with the hard drive and still nothing.
