Hi,
First time in this forum, so forgive me if this is asked every single day.

What are the considerations for buying a MiniDV camera that will only be used to transfer MiniDV tapes to my workstation? Do different brands offer better tranfer quality than others? Do all MiniDV camera brands output sound?

I realize these are beginner questions, but that is what I am.
