Could someone out there give me some advice please? I'm trying to copy some old video tapes from my VCR on to my JVC GR-D50 so I can upload them onto my PC and burn them to DVD. I follow the instructions to the letter but dont get the AV/IN appearing onscreen as per the manual (page 26) and I'm unable to record from the VCR. I've tried connecting the supplied leads with/without the scart adaptor, as well as an s/video connector to no avail. I can view images on my TV, through my VCR, when using the GR-D50 as the player so the AV output seems to be working fine Its really frustrating so any advice would help. Thanks in advance.

There should be an option on your camcorder in the vcr mode that says "Dv in/out" or something like that. Turn it to ON and it should work.

Ok, I'm sorted. I had to purchase a switchable scart adaptor as the one provided was only for veiwing from Camcorder to TV.
