Hi, am new to all this so go easy on me!

Using Video Studio 7 basic edition. Capture fine and am getting the hang of the editing. However, when I record back to the camera (JVC GRD50), I get "jumpy" output. Not all the time and not always the same place! Recorded back 50 mins of footage at one point with no jumps, but now seem to be getting consistently jumpy playback. (Video plays fine on the PC).

It behaves as if something happens on the PC to interrupt the recording momentarily.

Am running on XP, with over 50gb free and 512mb ram.

Any suggestions? All help gratefully received!
