never tried it & there is not a major highway all d way to do it but id guesstimate with less traffic on a sunday maybe 6hrs ... |

Well guys I got the batt but UPS roughed it up a tad. On one of the corners it looks almost as if someone has taken a belt sander and sanded off some of the corner.
Some pics, not the greatest quality (cell phone)
Im not too overly concered about it as far as cosmetics but what about the performance/life/reliability/ etc of the batt now? Did whatever cause the cosmetic damage also cause any other unseen damage???
Thoughts? Need some input guys. |

well i forogt i have this wii sitting here 10 days now ....so tonight i finally put it on & played d wii sports disc it came with since thats all i got for now
well this is d 1st time im actually playing a wii so having a wireless controller is very cool
games on this disc r very simple & just takes a few tries to get d hang of it .... graphics smooth but simple\basic , characters : well it looks like they took 2 mins to draw it , reminds me of rayman for d ps1 ...i played about an hr of d golf & hr of d bowling & baseball... simple yet time consuming ...i like how they remind u that u can take a break
because of too much simplistic graphics & gameplay id give d wii sport disc a 5.5\10
next wk i have to go get this ting modded & play a dl copy of mario which is what every1 really buys a nintendo for .... |

I'm running the 1000w Dayton plate amp I got off partsexpress. LOVE the amp. At 4ohms it's a beast. My Q is an 18". When it comes to HT I would recommend as few drivers as possible. Only because it makes designing and building the enclosure easier as well as wiring. It's your baby though so run with whatever you wish. I wish I had the house, money and time to try an IB. Damn that would be sweet!
Let me tell you though. Power is NOT as critical as design when it comes to HT. Room acoustics play into it as well. I had a 500w Bash amp powering 4 10" subs in one box and though it was nothing to stop the presses for it thumped much more than expected. Then it was the 15" Mag. Now I'm with the 18" Q.
I'm happy so I stopped lol.

Hmm, very nice. Im thinking of going with a couple of low powered subs and a good ported box around 28hz. I was actually considering 2 of the new JL w0v2s or maybe even 4 12" TMAs (basicly a JL w1). I could go either route for less than $200 out the door. |

Bad news for me guys. I've been let go from my job. The housing industry just hasn't been able to sustain itself enough to keep us working. We've been limping along for awhile too long. I'm a single parent with a mortgage. Unemployment doesn't cut it for my responsibilities. I don't want that route anyway.
My motto is: Either take life by the horns or the horns of life will take care of you! I will do what I have to on the side as I can and hope all pans out in the end. I'm looking into a sales position through Sears in the siding/window/door department. Back doored through my brother in law of course. It means a change in custody of my son though for at least a year and a half. This job could pay 100k+year but means travel and less time at home.
Too soon to judge. I don't care about driving or the long hours. I hate the fact I wouldn't see my kids as much though.
But I have responsibilities, a mortgage and more to pay for so....
We all do what we gotta do right?
I just never pegged myself the salesman type. Lie for a living and kiss azz all the time.....

well i got d Wii modded on friday & so far i have only DL paper mario & mario party 8
both it seems came out late 2007
paper mario is like d 1st SMB with some features u have to use on d wii controllers ...graphics simple but really nice still ...good gameplay & high fun facture just like ole skool mario ....really good addictive game
only played d mario party a little - simple but entertaining ...seems to be a nice game to kill some time ... |

Went to a car show today. Actually, I rented a tent to one of the vendors. I showed up to take it down and wound up leaving 2 hours later. Some of the rides were.....ok. No, no camera. They had sound offs too. Pretty pathetic even if it is Jersey. 151.something took the 10' tall trophy. There were mostly 140's. I saw a lot of MTX and JL. Rims EVERYWHERE! The only true excitement came during the burnout competition. Half way through a few cops showed up. It was a sponsored event and all the young punks screamed "5.0!" and everyone scattered. I sat there in amazement lol. Naturally all the cops wanted to do was watch. |

I was just thinking wicked If I do in fact have 55 inches wide of space then I can run 4 12's wide one set firing up the other set firing down a few inches apart from each other. The only question is can I stay under the back window. So i just might use these eight 12's yet. In a sealed arrangement that would be 8 cubic feet total. |

Thanks Yanks. I'm already busy so to speak. My son will go live with his mother temporarily and I'm preparing for a tight winter. My sales job with Sears won't start until next year, like February when it starts to peak. Until then I will be collecting unemployment and taking on side jobs. I'll be living lean until I can get through this storm.
I'll be finishing my deck this week also. I had to make the call as to whether or not to finish it or hold off until next year. I didn't want to do that as seeing the wood not matching in color due to fading. Imma finish this project and button down so to speak for the winter months.
Paul will survive. |
