Hi,
I recently took apart my camcorder to clean out alot of sand that got inside it. Now the sand is not the problem since playback works fine. The problem is when I go to record new video all I get is a black screen.... like as if the lens cap is on. Everything else seems to work fine.
Any Ideas how to fix/trobleshoot this problem?

That is my worst night mare...i have a gs 300. It probably got into the ccd chips or corroded some wiring to the heads....find a technician and look at getting a new camera.
