ok i never post here before but i have an old ricoh r831 camcorder(i now its real old)but im trying to get it to work and ever time i try to see what i recored it is beeping and giving me a symbol that has a trangle with a line under it. if someone can help me plz.

I have just seen your letter about the Ricoh not working.

In my old Yashica booklet a triangle with a line under it means;

1 when switched to camera, triangle with a tape above it means End of Tape or the Tab on the Casette is out.

2 when switched to camera or player, triangle with a teardrop in a box above it means moisture inside unit. A triangle & line on its own it just says other troubles
