I captured miniDV content from my Sony camcorder into laptop via Firewire cable using Windows Moviemaker. As expected this gave me a huge .avi file. Then I downloaded Ulead MovieFactory 30-day trial version for DVD authoring. I imported the big .avi file into MovieFactory project with "Best" resample quality selected in the preferences. Then I burned the project onto DVD but when I view that DVD into my computer I notice that the movie is not smooth. ie. it seems like some frames are missing making the movie appear jerky. When I view the original .avi that I used as the source file for MovieFactory, I don't see this issue. What I am missing and how do I correct this problem? Any help is appreciated.
