I purchased DSC-T70 two months ago, it went perfectly till date, few days back once it got dropped at 4ft height , it worked well even after dropping. Now I observed when I slide down the lens cover/turnon power, it turns on and then after a blink of the scene, turns off ?? I am not able to shoot picture or movies. However I am able to view/download the pictures I have taken. I tried replacing the stick but failed. Can any one help the remedy or why it happens ! Is it a firmware/hardware problem. Normally while uploading the stuff I used to select all, cut and paste it in my computer folder ! Is there something like any hidden program file got cut also !

I doubt that it is a firmware or hardware problem. It could be the 4 foot drop.
