tanx but i mainly do it for getting d experience with various subs that way i get to hear them perform & wont to spend a $ + d lil excercise does me good & d $ pays 4 my own stuf when i need it
working on a 1 12 atomic ele box 4 a guy now right now ...got 2 4" pvc pipes with elbow @ d end ...built already (needs to be carpeted) & got paid 4 most of it but im waiting 4 him 2 pay me 4 d sub b4 i test it .... |

my mag just came today. this sub looks beautiful. its clean and not a scratch on it. i love this sub. looks like i'll be busy building a box for it this weekend. i am gonna go a bit smaller than the recomended volume. i was thinking of 2.5cuft tuned to 30hz......chad |

you are probably right jessie. the rl-s were a beast. they dropped so low and clean it wasn't even funny. lol. but a single sub had a hard time getting loud in the trunk. ported it got louder but that sub wasn't meant to be ported. now the mag can be ported and tuned low so it will hit hard.
glad you got the shipping lable finally jessie. hey did you see my ho alt for sale thread on ca.com? iraggi posted in that thread a couple of times. lol.

dude thats way too small for a 15 since most 15s r comfortable around 4cuft ...
tested today that ele atomic box i made - was tuned around 35hz & it seems like d sub didnt like it at all ...i removed piece of d port\pipe length & it sounded better but i realised it was excursioning alot too even b4 i tremoved pipece of d port ...so i ended trimming about 1.5" off d total depth of d box so hopefully tomorrow it sounds improved ..... |

Been busy with the saw and paint brush. Since Brad gave me shot glasses for my SS gift it gave me the idea of making a lighted display case for all my shot glasses. I finally got my plexi order today so I finished it up. I made the doors on my shaper and chose plexi cause it's safer, especially with kids. The shelves and door fronts are plexi. Shelves 1/4" thick and the door 1/8". Helps to keep the dust off as well. I have it on the wall that is perpendicular to my bar.
I had to take down my Steeler gear to put it up but for every victory there will be sacrifices lol. I like it.

shelves looking good but imo d lighting is a tad bit too strong focusing mainly on 1 area ...maybe a few smaller lights may spread it more evenly .....

nice work paul. rovin is right about the lighting. maybe you should change the bulbs to flood light bulbs.
rovin, we were just having some fun with polo. lol.
anyways, i know the 2.5 is small. 3.5 cuft is recomended for a mag but for some reason my car likes smaller boxes. even my rl-s were supposed to be in a 3 cuft sealed but it sounded better at 2 cuft sealed. anyways i might make it a tad bigger. like 3 cuft. besides, if i make it small and it doesn't sound good, i can always seal it. lol. ima experiment with a box designs on this one. |

Fug, it may be my camera's flash or something. The bright light doesn't show up as much in person. It's closer to an even glow. I do see it concentrated right underneath the spots tho not as much as the pics show. |

Your problem is the flash...to show the bright lights you need to turn off your flash and go with a longer exposure. Use a tripod. |

ROVIN!!! ROVIN!!!! ROVIN!!!! i was worried i couldn't fit a 3.3cuft box in my trunk but i was wrong. it will fit. well i was mainly worried about the entrance to the trunk. a box with the dimension i need wouldn't fit but i see that i will fit.
what i did was we have a box at the store that we use to pack the clothes in to ship to customers. well one of the box is the exact dimensions i need to give me 3.3 cuft net. i tried putting that in my trunk and it goes in without a problem.
i am happy now. i can have a 3cuft box ported rather than a 2.5cuft box. lol. |

oh btw - damn atomic ele 12" has a super high Fs of 50hz so thats why it wasnt responding well at all when i tuned it about 35hz ....sub was moving yet what u hearing was kinda soft ...also box somehow i made it too big
so now newly cut box is 3cuft tuned about 45hz & it sounds ALOT better ..... |

Got a new battery today. Its a Deka Intimidator. Its non-spillable, has better specs than an Optima Yellow top and was about $80 cheaper than the Yellow top.
This is the one I got.

jesse, what is your username "naledge" mean?
my username "bestmankind" came about like this. when xbox first came out i was all in to playing online. when i went to creat a username, i wanted to use mankind. you know the guy from wwe. anyways it was alredy taken but before i had to choose something else, they suggested a few and bestmankind was one of them. so i took it. ever since then i started to use that name for my username on alot of stuff. its hard to keep track of multiple usernames so i figured i stick with this one. lol. |

Yes you do see VHS tapes TWiZTiD lol. I'm 36 going on 16.
The DVD format didn't come soon enough and I'd hate to throw all those movies away. I have boxes more that will someday becomes paperweights. I can't afford to replace them with their DVD version so they will eventually be chaulked up as a loss. $20/pc
I do have a DVD recorder but it would take literally months of constant recording to transfer them all. I'm slowly buying DVDs of my favorite ones and will have to be happy with that. |

paul, wolfman got back to me after i sent him the messege. this is what he said.
"yeah, I do owe him for it...which is the main reason I'm not on E any more. I am really embarrased that I havent been able to pay him. Yeah, ppl say "Its only 50 bucks." but I haven't had it. and for a while, I didnt have internet, so couldnt get on and get his address...which I do have now.
