Just finished putting the tree up. Packages are arriving daily and for the first time ever all my shopping is done and we just now crossed into December.
Sad note. I still haven't heard from Wolfman. He said he was going to send SOMETHING on the 27th. I told him that was fine as long as he made an attempt. I just don't know anymore. |

^^^ Me too. I work on a pc all day only to come home and surf the net. I hardly watch any tv anymore. I'm hoping that will change when my son gets his Wii for Xmas. It's such an addicting game that I'm sure I'll be playing it after he goes to bed. That reminds me, I have to go out today and pick up extra remotes and nunchucks so we can play against each other. |

i hear u paul since we have cable tv with about 60 good channels but hey sometimes its so boring to just sit & watch d tube when i could go online & participate over forums with live ppl after a day's work just to relax
havent played my Ps2 in a long while too because after a while all v\games r like same ol same ol so i rather be on d net in d nighttime ..... |

I can shoot stick, and not just my own lol. My father grew up in a pool hall. He tells me in a properly set table and lighting above, it's all in the lights. He uses the light's reflections on the balls to properly aim and shoot. I could never figure it out. |

my dad is awesome in pool. not the pocket pools we play. its a table with no pockets. there are 1 white ball and 2 red balls. you use the white ball to hit the 2 red balls in one shot. but its not that simple. you have to hit the walls 3 times before you hit the second red ball. or you can hit the walls three times first then hit the 2 red balls. you get the idea. |

i like 9 ball 4 its simplicity but guys i hang with r more accustomed 2 reg 8ball which i find doesnt make too much sense since there is no order since its just solid or stripes & gets really long when coming to d end
while 9ball is super fast depending on d situation - on break shot alone u can win if d 9 goes in or on ur 2nd shot u combo d 9 & instant win....some of d guys hate to c me win so easily so they dont like it much...
i learnt 9ball & pool in general from playing POOL HUSTLER on d Ps1 system & also WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP POOL 2004 on Ps2 ...... |

Ya know Rovin I wonder about the future based on your post lol. Everyone is experiencing the "fun" things in life through video games. How to shoot pool, play football, play tennis, ect.....
We are so hung up on "virtual reality" that we're fogetting about reality itself.
I love simulators. Driving and flying. I love "simulating" what I normally otherwise couldn't. Is it really experience tho?
It's just a game.
Ironically, the Nintendo Wii is bringing the physical movement back into competitive gaming. Even doctors are recommending it for physical therapy for some ppl.
Today's youth needs to move more. Period.
What are we without our healthy bodies? |

that was a few yrs ago when after a hard day of work i used to play video games often but internet has since replaced that
used to play pool a few yrs ago but the place where we went had closed so only a few mths ago started going to a different place & now we go on a saturday night ....i must admit im sometimes distracted looking at babes there even though most of them are with their BF ...cant hurt to steal a quick glance right .....

I think there's plenty off work available for those two. It's nice to see the pair with skills that can provide a good product. Sure there's always good and mediocre box builders here but those guys are true craftsmen. And luckily no sign of a Mark Potts in either of them lol.
So how about what Zac had done to the forum? Wow. He only posts about once a month and has a valid point but boy did that blow the true OT section out of the water. He had all those threads moved. I bet it confused a TON of ppl lol.
Still no word from the Wolfman. That's disappointing to say the least. |

all this week on VH1 Classic, there is a show called "top 100 songs of the 90's". eveyday they reveal 20 songs. its down to top 40 now.
anyways listening to all the songs from the 90s is bringing back memories. i grew up listening to the 90s music. |

We'll see. She needs to get her head out of her azz and ditch the deadbeat leech she calls a BF. She was about to lose her house because of him. I lent her $2500 to get her through the holidays. I can't expect to see a dime of it back. It took her 9 months to pay me back last year and she had to refinance her home to do it. This year times are much tighter.........

Got both kids for the morning so that's good. They should be pleased. Drop them off at their mother's around noon. Then I'm off to my sister's to exchange with the rest of the family. Back home after that to break open my son's Wii. |

God dammit I can't stop playing this freaking thing lol. Baseball, bowling, boxing, tennis, golf, ect.......

yesterday i went to my uncle's house. all the family was there. well almost all.
anyways my little cousin had guitar hero 2 so i started playing it. i couldn't put the dame game down. it is so fricking awesome. i want one now bad. lol.
for dinner, we didn't have the traditional xmas dinner.
we had steak, rice, sushi, egg rolls, tempera, and bunch of other stuff. lol. nothing beats a nice T-bone with a sh!tload of dinner rolls with butter. lol. Mmmmmmmmm |
