I wanna get my mom a new digital camera for christmas, was wondering which brands to look for, what some good deals are. I wanna get her something with atleast 8.0 megapixels. What are other specs to pay attention to? Suggestions appreciated. |

are you looking for a point-and-shoot or an SLR? Canons are good because they have a high CCD. Thats important. |

and knowing would affect you in what way? But if it is important in you decision making process, Canon is still number 1 in sales in 2006 followed by Nikon. Olympus and Pentax were tied in 3rd and followed by Panasonic and Samsung. |
