I'm looking for some help. I have a JVC Digital Video Camera GR-D370U. One of my kids tried to jam the power cord into the fire wire port not realizing it was the wrong spot. The pins in the firewire port are pretty much trashed. I don't believe that at any point that any power went into the port, as the camera is still operable. I cleaned all the junk out of the port, but now when I connect the fire wire to the computer it doesn't see the camera. Is there any type of adaptor that I might be able to get to plug into the existing port? Or does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks
