It's kinda like an amusement park for small kids. They have hayrides in the fall, a train that circles the park, all sorts of rides, restaurants ect... My son's b-day is Oct 9th and my girls was back in Sept. Since I only have full custody of my boy I have the two together two weekends a month, my ex the other. I just combine parties. This year they BOTH want a Nintendo DS. Uggghhh. My sister/bro-in-law treats them to the park as their gift to them. They get to pick out pumpkins and everything. Makes for a nice day for them. And I hope it's a boy for you! |

^^^My cat leaves dead crickets all over my basement. They "entertain" her during the day. Thinking about a box for my 10" TC-9. I know little about the sub. It's my first TC product of any kind. I'm wondering how it would sound sealed. Hmmmm...... |

I think it will sound like sweet sweet music. Is it me or does it seem like the forum is getting deader and deader? Not alot of posting anymore like when I first came to E. And rarely a thread that makes for some good information. |

You guys. I am getting really impatient and pissed with Iraggi. Let me start from the beginning. I bought a custom (from my understanding) 200A alt for my 89 Range Rover It cost $530 with lifetime warranty and shipping. Well, it took him 2 months to send me the alt. When I got the alt it didnt fit the bracket so I had to send it back at my expense. When he sent the next alt, it looked completely different and used. It was rusty on the inside of the alt. I didnt say anything cause I was just happy to finally have it. Well about a month ago the alt would not keep the voltage up above 12.3v. It was actually bringing the battery voltage down. I send it to him again at my own expense. While I'm waiting for him to return it, I sent an email asking what was wrong with it. All he says to me in his reply is "I believe the rectifier had a bad diode". So I'm thinking, he is the expert that is fixing my alt and he THINKS that is what the problem is??? How is he supposed to fix it if he THINKS thats what the problem is. Finally I get my alt back about 2 weeks later (a week and a half ago), and it is a completely different alternator!! The pulley is different the casing, everything. This wouldnt have been a problem for me if in fact the alternator actually worked for my vehicle. There is a part that is different on the back of this alternator that will not work for my ride. pics
In the first picture which is the most recent alternator sent to me, you will notice a little rectangular area right next to the screw. It is a female connection. In the next pic you will see what it is supposed to look like. It is supposed to have a male connection. So I email him immediately. That was last wednesday. I wasnt hearing anything so I sent another on monday, still nothing so I send another today with the same title and "ATTEMPT NUMBER 3" added to the title. I get a reply about 2 hours later and all he says is, "You will need ring terminal instead of the spade clip you have factory". Are freaking kidding me???? I paid $500 for a custom alternator and thats all he says. The last alternator fit and worked fine until it broke. By this point I am just pissed. So I send him an email with this reply. "No, what I need is the correct, custom alternator that I paid over $500 for! For the record. I have every single email that I have sent and that you have sent since the beginning of this transaction starting back on January 2nd , 2007. I have barely even got to use the alternator due to all the screw ups and problems. I even asked you what was wrong with this last alternator and your reply was "I believe the rectifier had a bad diode." How did you fix the problem if you didnt even know for sure what was wrong with it? Just send me a different alt? And why do they all look used? My last alt was rusty inside of it....I could see it without taking it apart. Just by looking in the little slots. This is ridiculous." I cant believe this. Now I'm probably gonna have to send this alternator in again on my own dime. |

man thats facked up seems like he already got ur business & dont care much to back up his 'life time warranty' & thats shiddy sevice to boot too ...IMO he should at least pay 1\2 s\h each time u should demand u get back a brand new alt which u originally paid for .... |

Man so many ppl recommend Iraggi too. I've heard about their shipping delays but this is just off the charts. Must be 2-3 guys working in a shop with hundreds of orders. Sounds like my scooter fiasco about a year ago. I don't wanna talk about it. And I'm sure the used parts are just recycled from dead alts they're making $$$ off of. If you paid for a new alt, it damn well better be one, IMO. |

I'm almost tempted to ask for a full refund since I never recieved a new alt and have got a different alternator each time. I just looked him up with the BBB. He is not registered but has an unsatisfactory record with 2 complaints. 1 resolved cause "The consumer acknowledged acceptance to the BBB." (whatever that means) and 1 unresolved, "Company failed to resolve the complaint issues through the BBB voluntary and self-regulatory process." |

oh, believe me I am. I just got a response to an email that I sent 3 days ago saying.. "Custom means its not the same as factory and will require slight modification. There are several options for "custom building" an alternator. The last one is a more expensive unit that will handle your power better that you didnt have to pay for. We gave you the upgrade free of charge. I only remember two alts. I guess I dont remember the first." So it seems like he is trying to say he did me a favor by upgrading me, even though the alt doesnt work out. |

I agree. They depend on the masses to just drift away. Kinda like insurance companies. Deny all claims at first. If they persist, persist back. If they seek legal action, look into the matter. It's getting that bad. I have home owner's insurance. I pay a good premium each year. Awhile back I had a sparking main breaker box. Called the electric company and they came right out, inspected the lines to the house, then said everythings good on their end, have a nice day. I have small kids in the house and my breaker box is sparking! I didn't sleep that night. Took off work the next day and called an electrician. Turns out water had made its' way down the supply cable and into the breaker box, shorting out the main, thus the sparking. Ok. It cost me over $400 to fix this problem. I was curious if my home owners would cover this. I called them. They wouldn't even speak to me unless I was issued a claim number. I said "whatever". Turns out my deductable is $500 and since I "inquired" about a claim and had a "claim" number issued my insurance went up. I had to pay for the problem and also the premium increase for simply asking if it was covered. This is how large companies work. They expect and depend on you not to follow through with your problem. They expect you to die through attrition. Sorry about the rant. I've been here before. |

It happens all the time. Everything is money driven. And insurance companies are just as bad as lawyers....and tow truck companies, lol, imo. The insurance field is "gangsta". Pay me and when there is a problem, you are Sh!t out of luck even though you are required to carry this insurance. |

A little excitment in my hood today fellas. Three houses down caught fire! At least 5-6 fire trucks and dozens of patrol cars responded. Seems someone trimming a tree close to their house dropped a branch right onto the power wire coming into the house. What started out as an external fire turned into a mess. The house wasn't leveled thank god but they will be spending the next week or so somewhere else. I even have it on video of the firemen ripping holes in the roof during the blaze. Nobody hurt. What made me feel good about the incident was what happened directly after the comotion died. Within 1 hour after the police/firemen left at least 5-6 pickup trucks showed up with plywood and materials. It was the neighborhood stepping in and helping out. I had my kids this weekend so I was stuck but I would've been one of them you can be certain of that. It was kinda weird sitting and watching and feeling so helpless. The house is so filled with water from the hoses. First thing I did was check the batteries in all my smoke alarms.
Tipping my hat to James........ |

These are the "hoods" and kind of people that should really represent America. Not all the BS you see on the news. I sympathize with the people who's house got damaged. My house burned down when I was in about 2nd grade. Paul, no doubt in my mind that you would have been there helping if you were'nt preoccupied. |

Yes I would have. It shook my mind because if something like this would happen to my house it would crush me. I've heard of fires started from blocked dryer ducts and such but you can't predict this kind of stuff....how can anyone????????? |

Here's what happened to my apartment. There was a leak in the roof. Some water got into a outlet and started a fire (this is what I was told, I was only in 2nd grade). But get this.....Everything burned in the apt, except a box of pics that was in the corner , under a table, between the couch and love seat. Also a pair of my step dads shoes that he left by the bed that he used to just happen to stuff his money in. Next, there was bookshelf built into the wall and everything except the bible burnt!! My mom and step dad were at a music store that was about 10 block up the road and they heard and seen the firetrucks, so they went outside to see what was going on and they could see that it was near our apartment....and sadly it was our apartment. But we stayed with some friends and the Red Cross helped out tremendously with getting some clothes and toothbrushes etc... |

The best part was that the rear was lifted about 2 1/2 ft. and the front lowered a few inches. It had wide @ss wheels on back. I'm sittin there just thinking..OMG..Front wheel drive!!! lol |

Would it freak any of you out to know I was having fun tonight with a chainsaw in my basement?
Lol. My brother-in-law asked to borrow it tomorrow and it hasn't been run in like 2+ years. I had to burn the old gas out of the lines and replace with new. With the time it was I couldn't run it outside, the neighbors would complain. Cat was running like hell lol. Had all the windows open and fans running to get all the exhaust out. I feel like a true redneck now lolololol....... |
