Hi!
I have a JVC GRX77 and I'm having problems capturing video on the PC
I'm connected through a Firewire card and using XP sp2. The PC recognises the DV camera and playback starts, however after a couple of minutes the software freezes while the camera keeps on playing, without capturing anything.
I've tried switching Firewire cards and now am using a Belkin card and also tried with different softwares, mainly Nero7 and Ulead11, however the same thing happens everytime.
I also applied the microsoft patch and reverted to the SP1 firewire drivers and modified sidspeed to 1, without any luck!

When using nero after it freezes I get the msg 'Failure to initialise capture card'

Can anyone shed any light as it's driving me nuts!!
