we have a sony handy cam dcr tvr 520 camcorder and we want to use it as a pc webcam, can this be done and if it can be done what is needed to do it? |

You mean dcr trv520 Yes you can You should install software that it came with Will work great with windows XP and USB connection If you don't have a USB or firewire it won't work You can also choose to buy a USB web cam off e-bay at about $15 instead of easly damage your camcorder |

yes, thank you so much for responding but i still can't seem to figure out how to make it work. The cam does'nt have a usb hook up but it does have a firewire. Will it still stream video? |

my fuji s602,which older in today's view,can work as PC Cam if you select it from setup menus,so check the menus careful, you may make it work, good luck |
