hey have u guys notice a few top box builders now hang around ecoustics ? - man some of d boxes these guys make r MIGHTY impressive looking
makes me wanna take my game up into a higher level & try out new sh1t
btw - a few days ago i put my atomic sub & box for sale on a T&T forum ,havent gotten many offers as yet but hey its been only 2 days
for my next set i'm going to do some 10s maybe 4 cheap pioneer 10s which should still hit VERY hard yet clean , never had any 10s b4 ..... |

the reason i want it is eventually i am gonna give up spl and put my backseat back in. then i'll need a single sub in a sealed box in my trunk. the mag would work great. |

Whats happenin guys. I see that you want to quit spl! AHH. Good choice though Chad, sq will be nice. But I can't torture myself to that level. I have been thinking for awhile also. Thinking about doing a good, loud, sq setup. Meaning, having like 4 sq subs or so. Something that can be as loud as my setup now but a lot cleaner. Your always changing your mind though. Wall, no wall, and now a trunk setup. All good, thats what we all do, change. Keep me update Chadsta. |

well ppl i have done it again - d 2 10s pio subs r brand new & RELLY surprise me how its behaving , it cant drop low as d atomic but boy its loud as it- possibly louder too & with only about 220wrms each on it from my SS xtreme 880 2 ch amp , no sub distortion or flapping
but it was making late last night & i didnt internally brace d box like i normally do but now i see d need for it - will do that & also add a bit more port area as i feel i can let d sub breathe a bit more ....... |

gotta question regarding the xm radio man. why do i loose signal when i drive under a bridge? will the signal get stronger if i pay for the subscription? i haven't paid for it yet. i was just listening the few channels that were available. |

james forget what i said above. i guess the unit needed to break in a little. lol. it works fine. i even parked under a bridge and it worked fine.
you were right about xm. i just paid for the subscription today and was listening to it on my way home. it is awesome. the quality is so different from normal FM radio. i love it. |

^^^i hear u paul - this y i do this part time & i really do it for d love of d hobby rather, working with my hands & d exercise than trying to make $ or a living out of this
u get to see & experience different subs how it performs under your hands unlike if u hear it sounding sh1tty in a box from others
all i really get out of this for d time\energy is like a day's pay & i only do like 1 box\wk or every other wk -
sometimes a few wks past by with no building jobs & then suddenly a few ppl want boxes @ d same time too but i work @ my own pace , i rarely dont over exert myself to suit their time but to suit mine
this is why i have my games shop\reg job over d past 6yrs & i do this in my freetime which i was telling u could do since u prolly love carpentry as much as i do..... |

I hear ya as well. It's not a living but it's a passion with a reward. I have the tools and the talent for so many things. I've been looking to change speeds cause I don't like the stress my job carries. I'd rather be happy than rich. Just my point of view. Not that I'm rich but I learned a good lesson fom my father. If I'm thinking about my job on my time off then I'm not truely happy am I?
My job has got me in such a bind that I don't like it anymore. If you dread going into work you should find other work. I'd rather cut grass and build boxes on the side than deal with the chaos I do every day. JMO.
And Chauncey, you got one if you want one. If you really want one that is. |

being self employed is no bed of roses since this is ALOT of responsibility & headaches - but what compensates is d $ & u work on ur time ...& yes i agree happiness over $ but obviously we all need a steady income to live in this now soo commercialised world ......... |
