Total newbie here, sorry. I'm looking to buy a camcorder with a budget of $200-$400. I'm new at this, but would like to edit the film I take for possible documentary as I travel through Tuscany. Looking for high res video, good night shots, good sound, and high editability.I'm guessing that the most important features for filming would be the resolution and color quality for landscapes and skin tones, but you guys probably know more. Do they come with good film editing software?
It also would be great if the battery lasted a while. Need all the advice I can get. Please help.
