Funny, I almost want to buy and store a couple vcr's just to put into storage. They will be obsolete soon and I have so many vhs movies that I'd hate to chuck, yet why bother? In just a few more years the tapes will start losing picture quality anyway due to age. Sux.

you know one thing i do like about records is that "tick" "tick" sound it makes. i don't know why but when i first put the needle on the record and you hear that kinda staticy tick sound, it relaxes me.

Hey, I have a brand new in box Mecca car 8 track player at least 30 years old. My aunt had bought it for her car and sold the car b4 she could install it. It sat at my grandmother's house all these years. When she died it was discovered. It still has the manual and hardware. Someday, someone will be willing to pay good $$ for it. Heck, someone actually sold snow on Ebay. Crazy!

i added a soundstream pre amp to my sh1t 2day & wow it does make a HUGE different in overal vol output since b4 i had 2 turn my wcc amp gain about 2/3-3/4 to hear a decent out put - now i have d gain on 0 !

this sh1t seriously boost d voltage output of a HU considerably ......

so i was working on my install some more the other day i got the rear fill in i ran all the wires except the speaker wire from the back to the right door(ran out of time). i am going to have to make something for the speakers in the doors though since they dont fit in the factory positions so prob a mdf ring or something. but i still have a prob i dont know where im going to fit all the stuff in my little hatch lol im thinking about putting the amps and all that good stuff on my back seat since its about the only spot i have. and ill probably be doing the door speaks 2morrow and then i just have to do the hu but what does that take a half hour lol ill prob do the harness ahead of time and then just pop it in lol

take ur time dude

installs look simple on paper but when u get into it ur bound to end up with a problem or 2 eating up alot of time & tiring u out sometimes

hey if ur not hurry do a certain area\day like 1 day u install d HU alone ,next day 2 doors speakers etc

i myself take some days to do my own neat & proper

so dont rush & screw anything up ....

Close one Rovin. Would've been another dead soldier. James, yeah you're not too far. I'd say at least a three hour drive. Do you fish much offshore? I hear it's nice up there.

I ordered some more parts last night for my next sub. I have some neon with a home conversion kit on its' way. I've already got the carpet and adhesive. My Q should be here Monday and I had to special order the 1/2" plexi for the front. That was $35 alone. I'll use the 4' flared ports off my old one. D@mn. I'm gonna hate breaking it down. It's only a few months old.

I'm hoping to stick with this sub for some time. That is, until AA comes out with thier new line. James got me so curious over the Avalanche it hurts.

It's official. I now have a problem.
