like i said in another post this loudness actually affect d way ur voice sounds coming out of ur mouth - no lie
best loud sub 4 d $ IMO & its NOT a purely SPL sub like some ppl claim it 2 be since after a while it took 2 break in it now sounds quite decent ..... |

i got a $mall job 2 make this 1 box (built by some1 else some yrs ago) into 2 separate boxes so thats what i was working on 2day
had 2 cut it in 1/2 remove old baffle board & put a new side & new baffle board, will take some pix when im done
its some 6yr old model MTX thunder 4000 - small @rse magnet/coil but was tuned around 40hz & it surprised me how loud it is
guy is actually using this in his house .......

cool rovin i think i have thunder 4000's or maybe mine are 4500's i forget lol i need to sell them though for like 100 bux for both around here of course but they def get super loud for a low rms sub |

i guess thats how you learned it. when i was in elementary school that is how i learned it. lol.
wow elementary school brings back so much memories. life was more simple back then. play with friends after school and do you homework after eating dinner. no need to worry about payments and such. lol. i miss my youth. i had so much fun. but life goes on so why look back. i love my life right now. my btl's brings so much joy. not to mention you ecoustics guys. you guys are the best.

man ,past 2 days ppl have suddenly been asking me 2 do installs but i have 2 be @ work so i had 2 turn down 3 offers so far ,seems like since xmas is approaching every1 wants some music in their rides but ah well so it goes
getting a another small job 2 build a box 4 a sony xplode sub on saturday - 1st time im actually gonna hear how 1 will sound so i will know if it sux azz like every1 on ecou says - lol
but maybe with a nice box by me itll sound decent ...... |

having problems....in my girls accord...ok put the ads comps in they where sounding nice..until she called me and told me she heard a really loud whine noise...i was like wtf..so sure enough there is a whine noise(alternator whine) so i thought to myself ok has to be the ground...so i checked secured it and everything, still whine....so i was like maybe the gain is set to high...so i checked it and nope set kinda low...so i was like let me check the RCA cables....used 3 diffrent sets and still whine??? what do u guys think can be the problem??? I even bought a ground loop isolator and still whine... |

i went out and bought some Component Video Cables for my PS2, now i can access the Progressive scan option in the menus of some games and play in hi-def, really cool i must say. |

man there r about 15 of us & no1 posted here 2day
well i was busy - had 2 ppl come by me 4 boxes 4 their subs ,guy i did that focus install in Aug has decided 2 go from a 15" 400wrm mmats 2 a brand new 12" RE SX !
i expected this sub 2 b heavier but its about same weight a my premier 3002 sub ,will take some pix of it soon
we tried it in a few boxes - it got loud but man that sub is VERY stiff since its new so i expect it 2 hit alot deeper when broken in sub seems 2 like a 2.5 cuft 2 3" pipe ported box tuned around 33hz
2nd customer wants me 2 build a box 4 1 12" SONY XPLODE sub ! - yes u all say its shiddy but trust me i got it 2 sound quite good in a 1.75cuft slot ported box i had my Rs in ... TOLD U ALL I AM THAT GOOD ! -lol
so now i have 2 build d guy a box with same port area\tuning but with different dimentions 4 his civic' trunk space ..... |

my arcade is front of d building while workshop is about 100feet 2 d back of it on same property which is about 200ft long
well yea thur/friday i was building 2 to try in ppl's car to get an idea what will fit so when they came here yesterday/saturday i was about 2 see & get a good idea of what will fit & what volume each sub performed better in .
So due 2 this ^^^ i goit me 2 box jobs yesterday & after this no more til after xmas since i need 2 b in my arcade shop ..... |
