i have a sony ccd trv58 camcorder-about 4 yrs old. i also have a new gateway gm5084 computer-with tv tuner card and video card using windows xp. when i download video from my camcorder to pc i get picture but no sound--any advise on how to fix this problem? |

Rick, First, try a different video/audio source such as a VCR to make sure that the fault doesn't lie in your camcorder. If you still get no audio when you capture from the VCR, make sure that the capture settings in your programme have the capture card selected. If you are uncertain about this, try connecting the camcorder audio to your sound card input just to double check that your PC hasn't got the wrong input selected. If none of this works, re-instal your video capture card and associated software. If that doesn't fix it, ask for assistance from the vendor. Cheers. |
