I've never owned a camcorder. I have a newborn and would like to buy a good Sony camcorder (someone working there can get me a discounted price).

I'm trying to decide between the SR40 (hard drive), HC-46 (miniDV), and the DVD305 (DVD).

Price aside, can someone help me out? Features are nice, but as I said, I'm a beginner and won't likely get too into it for now. I'd like good quality videos, and something easy of use and manage.

Thanks.
