chad what u need is 2 exactly d same vehicles - 1 built with SQ in my & 2nd with SPL in mind ,so when u wake up in d morn just jump in either 1 according 2 ur mood -lol
actually i too im undecided on sq & spl so thats y there is SQPL - a nice sub like a 13w7 / cmpx2 / f1Q or something along those lines ........ |

please dont get a W7 lol, i dont really like the way they sound, kind of an odd muffled thumping sometimes from the ones i have heard. get a Q 15" meter it and give me a nice review so i can decide if i want one lol |

ima buy james' w6v2 along with the amp. that way for a couple of weeks it can be sq and another couple of weeks it can be spl. i don't want sql i want pure sq which i can enjoy while driving with the window close. |

alt never had a problem, it was the plug that plugged into the alternator. everything runs perfect. better than it did when i first had it installed.

lol its all good muddy. you are still number one in my book.
yesterday i stripped everything down to more fine tune the sound. i put the amps back on and connected all the speakers but i left out the audiocontrol epicenter, matrix, and the 6xs crossover. i am basically using the crossover that came with my focals and the sub is just running straight from the hu to the amps.
all i got to say is "DAMN" what a difference. its still sounds good but without the audiocontrol equipment, it sux. i guess i was used to the audiocontrol stuff. can't wait til i get home and reinstall all my audiocontrol stuff back in. |

doktah wants some sq now. sometimes you just get sick of loudness. no matter how good the sq might be from a sub, you can still get sick of it being loud. |

hey guys so i have a question
if i bought a mag and sold my dd. it is rated at 900 watts right so could i just use my mtx amp cause it puts out, 940 Watts x 1 @ 4 Ohm Bridged and could wire the mag to that correct. I mean eventually i would grab anew amp but for right now i could just use that cause it puts out the rated power and ive never had a prob with it. the reason for this i would have to sell my dd then sell my autotek 2000.1 |

you can just use the 900 watts on that sub charlie. from the reviews of alot of people, that sub is very efficient starting at 500 watts. |

alright so if i do this i will most likely be selling my autotek and dd  wow thats kinda sad lol but oh well. I think i want something new cause my dd is old and it served me well even though i never had a full 2 k on it but not sure i want it all that loud to tell the truth. now the real question how much space do i need for a 15 cause i might go sealed |
