Hi:
Maybe too much of reading confuses people.

I have read maybe 100 reviews including CNET's comments.
Can some Guru please help me in picking which would be a better camcorder?
Considerations:
a. Video Quality
b. Cost of ownership/recurring cost
c. Easy usability

I understand Canon is a bit cheaper so I am keeping purchase price out of consideration.

Also, if someone can also comment if Sony HDV camera videos can be downloaded on a PC without the Sony i-link port (found in VAIOs). Someone in CNET who owns it commented that it is not possible and is a major flaw.
