My Sony Handycam DCR-HC21 is about 2 years old. It only will show a black screen(veiw finder also)when I try to record. Its like the cover is still closed ( it's not) every now and then it flashes cover is closed. Everything else seems to be fine. It will playback a tape. It will get sound when recording just no picture. Fully charged battery, new tapes, tried it while pluged in, reset it.
