Yes, I'd like help.
I have HI8 home videos that I'm trying to put on DVD via the HP DVD Movie Writer DC 4000 using the supplied HP software and USB cable. I've had NO success. I've burned VHS tapes to DVD, but can't get the Hi8 to work. Any suggestions (probably step-by-step suggestions)?

Because you are using USB. You need an analog video capture device or firewire. NOT USB. |

Will Fire Wire hook up to my TRV608 and my HP DC4000 or do I need to hook it up to my computer? DO I need to buy another recepticle thing for my computer?
