hi all. has anybody here owned Panasonic NV-DS65EN? I've been capturing the video to pc via usb cable provided n have used sotware such as windows movie maker, ulead etc.. the thing is the video captured wasnt in real time, ie it lags n jerky. So how do you NV-DS65EN owners do it then? thanks,,,

Use the DV output and NOT USB.
Connect it to a firewire/IEEE1394 input on your PC, get one if you don't have one. USB is not going to work well.

thanks for the reply...can i use this cable? ie firewire to usb cable, will i still lose quality, will it still lags...thanks again

That is not going to work. You can try it but you will have problems.

thanks berny, just bought n installed PCI firewire card, then connected it to my camcorder...capturing works well....so to other users..GET A FIREWIRE CARD!!!!!!!

While capturing the video to PC it always stops at the blank tape. Anybody can help?
