I have a two and half year old sony dsc f717. Up till about 4 months ago it was a great camera. Then it just got a green tint on the screen and viewfinder. This does not effect the photos any but I can't review them now without having to guess at the exposure etc.

Does anyone know anything about this and if Sony is helping out with it?

Or does anyone have a phone number to contact sony so I can get some answers...thanks.

Another thing that happened about a month ago was that I was using the camera normally and the viewfiinder and screen went black. I could still depress the shutter and it would take the shot but the photo was completely black. I could still review the photos on the screen and viewfinder that I had taken before the screen went black. I thought my camera was done but I just picked it up this morning and tried the factory reset button (didn't help) and then I powered it off and on a couple times and began just shooting images with the black screen. Then the screen came back on and the camera seems to be working properly now....really weird!

Any info or help on that would be great too.

thanks
