I have a sony cyber shot dsc-p52 digital camera. One day I turned it on and took a picture and the picture was black. In fact the LCD screen was black also except for the menu and the picture on the memory stick looks exactly like the black screen. I am not an expert but the fact that the menu showed and it actually took a black picture. It may be a problem with the lens. Could someone help me, It cost more than the camera when I called to have it fixed.

Contact Sony support. I believe that camera is under a recall and they will fix it for free.
