i have a sony ccd-f250e 8mm camcorder, thats faulty and just wondering if anyone can offer any advice? When i boot up the camera from standby it makes a funny noise, the head judders back and forth and stalls or it will do this sometimes and spin up then stall with the eject icon flashing in viewfinder displaying a fault. I have not used it in a number of years because my old recordings would not playback with what would apear to be out of tracking. Would record ok and playback ok and then a few days later look like no signal unless you fast forward it and would see the picture and then scrambled when in playback. now it apears that the head its struggling to spin up. can anyone help at all in what this may be or know of any websites that can help me? cheers in advance guys/gals
