I acquired the JVC GR-D244U Mini Dv camcorder. I can't transfer recordings to my Laptop Toshiba Satellite SA30-213. I have on the laptop VIA OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller and the FW cable connecting the two.The laptop does not recognise the Camcorder.The JVC Manual says it will be picked up by the Windows XP and no other software is reqd. Any suggestions please?
