I have a SC-D353 Samsung camcorder and the cam says "DV-IN" but pc doesnt see it, im using firewire cable to connect it, i just bought new card and wire and nothing.
also i have sp2 and i went to try that trick but i don't have the old sp1 installed, pc came with sp2
any help please please please.

If the cam says "DV-IN" that means signal is supposed to go in(to camera)...not out.
You should use the "DV-OUT" to connect to the PC. |

well i mean it has the dv at the bottom right when its hooked up to the pc |
