I cant figure out how to connect my Panasonic PV-GS35 Mini DV camcorder to my computer. I use the USB 2.0 cable but the software it uses to detect it wont detect it. I've searched the "help" file but it isn't much help. so i want some REAL help plz.

Use firewire (IEEE1394) Use the DV out of your camcorder, if it has it.
