Hi everyone!! I brought a JVC GR-D290 camcorder and have been unable to transfer the video i have captured to my pc. I have been reading what everyone has posted on the forum and would like to know do i also have to purchase a firewire card, cable and software?? how much approx will that be?? and is that all i need?? i have had a look at my pc (packard bell, windows xp) and can't see anything that looks like a port for the firewire cable (is this why i need the firewire card? is it external?) I have about 10 tapes that i have video footage on because i havent' been able to upload them onto my pc then onto dvd, so as you can imaging i am becoming frustrated!! Thanks in advanced everyone!!......I loooooove this forum, very helpful!!
