i have a canon zr100 camcorder, i have 8mm tapes not from my canon that i need to put on my computer is it possible to use the 8mm tapes in my canon???

Isn't the Canon ZR100 a miniDV format camera? These are 2 totally different formats and different size tapes. You cannot use 8mm tapes on a miniDV camcorder.
